DESCRIPTION:BEY TEAM OUROBOROS is excited to announce our new tournament series! Teardown is a fortnightly tournament series held on Mondays at Dragon’s Gate Gaming in Rocklea. But this isn’t just another normal Beyblade tournament\, these events will be using the X Limited format (a.k.a. X Classic) created by Seattle Beyblade. \nX Limited bans blades that are too heavy\, wide\, or strong\, making it viable to use many of the blades that are otherwise too underpowered. If you’re interested in the approach taken in creating the banlist or why each blade was added\, read the document from Seattle Beyblade. \nThis tournament is limited to 24 players! Make sure you sign up to secure your spot. \nThe tournament starts at 6:30PM\, late arrivals will not be able to compete. \nTournament Details\nRulebook: WBO Beyblade X Rules\nMatch Type: 3on3 Battle\, 7-Point Match.\nTournament Type: Group round robin. Double elimination finals bracket. \nOptional rules:\n1 – Registered deck list [Finals]\n4 – Out-of-bounds finish [2 points]\n5 – Painted blades allowed\n6 – Reveal and reorder\n7 – Swap positions after battle (Rotate stadium) \nCustom rule: Launching directly into the over or Xtreme zone will be considered a launch error. \nPart Bans\nThe bit Metal Needle is banned at all our events because it can damage stadiums. \nPrize\n1st place – $20 store credit \nOther Info\nThe tournament is likely to last at least a few hours. We are all here to roll dice\, slay dragons & make friends! \nOur quests primarily consist of one-shots\, allowing for shorter\, self-contained adventures that can be completed in a single game session. There is potential\, depending on how the game unfolds\, for a part 2 (or more) to be required; if this is the case\, the DM will communicate with the party on the night to work out player availability etc. Some DMs may also be able to offer short campaign style stories also. Best to be discussed with the DM at your table if this interests you. \nBookings\nDragons Gate Gaming is where our brave adventurers convene to embark on thrilling quests\, share tales of valour\, and build lasting friendships. To secure yourself a seat at a\ntable please pre-book a seat via our discord group. We run weekly over 2 nights. Tuesday & Thursday nights\, please select a quest that works for you. Walk in spaces are very\nlimited and pending availability. It’s a good idea to arrive 30mins prior to your booked session as it is a good time to meet new club members or asking DMs or Operations Team for assistance and interact with the Dragons Gate Gaming store and our in game shops. \nCost\nThe cost to play within out club is $15per person\, per session to be paid on the night at Dragons Gate Gaming shop counter either in cash or via eftpos. \nClub Membership\nOur club welcomes players of all experience levels\, from beginners to seasoned veterans. Whether you’re a swift monk\, a stealthy rogue or a wise druid\, you’ll find a place among all who attend our sessions. Our guild is a family friendly environment and players 12 years old+ are welcome. Our club has an age limit of 12 years old and above\, this is the recommended age of participation from Wizards of the Coast. We need you to also please keep in mind your child may be playing at a table with adults. Your attendance isn’t mandatory but recommended. \nOnline Presence:\nTo stay connected between in-person meetings\, we maintain an active online presence through our club’s discord channel. Here\, you can find updates on upcoming quests\, campaign notes\, relevant guild information\, and engage in discussions with fellow adventurers and the Dungeon Masters. DESCRIPTION:BEY TEAM OUROBOROS is excited to announce our new tournament series! Teardown is a fortnightly tournament series held on Mondays at Dragon’s Gate Gaming in Rocklea. But this isn’t just another normal Beyblade tournament\, these events will be using the X Limited format (a.k.a. X Classic) created by Seattle Beyblade. \nX Limited bans blades that are too heavy\, wide\, or strong\, making it viable to use many of the blades that are otherwise too underpowered. If you’re interested in the approach taken in creating the banlist or why each blade was added\, read the document from Seattle Beyblade. \nThis tournament is limited to 24 players! Make sure you sign up to secure your spot. \nThe tournament starts at 6:30PM\, late arrivals will not be able to compete. \nTournament Details\nRulebook: WBO Beyblade X Rules\nMatch Type: 3on3 Battle\, 7-Point Match.\nTournament Type: Group round robin. Double elimination finals bracket. \nOptional rules:\n1 – Registered deck list [Finals]\n4 – Out-of-bounds finish [2 points]\n5 – Painted blades allowed\n6 – Reveal and reorder\n7 – Swap positions after battle (Rotate stadium) \nCustom rule: Launching directly into the over or Xtreme zone will be considered a launch error. \nPart Bans\nThe bit Metal Needle is banned at all our events because it can damage stadiums. \nPrize\n1st place – $20 store credit \nOther Info\nThe tournament is likely to last at least a few hours. DESCRIPTION:Roll In & Play is our relaxed\, drop in board game session every Saturday at Dragon’s Gate Gaming. \nFrom 12pm to 6pm\, the play space is open for shared board game play using our in house library\, or you are welcome to bring a favourite game from home to share with others. Come solo\, bring friends\, or join a table that is already running. There is no set schedule and no pressure to stay for the full session. \nThis is a flexible\, low stress play space designed for casual gaming\, social connection\, and discovering new favourites. Stay for an hour or settle in for the afternoon. Our team will be around to help with game suggestions\, rules explanations\, and matching players where needed. \nThere is no charge to attend. As a small\, independent local business\, purchases on the day help support the space and allow us to continue offering free community play sessions. Grabbing a snack\, a drink\, or a game from the shelves is a great way to keep Roll In & Play rolling. \nWhether you are new to board games or a long time tabletop fan\, Roll In & Play is an easy way to spend your Saturday in good company.
