BEY TEAM OUROBOROS is excited to announce our new tournament series! Teardown is a fortnightly tournament series held on Mondays at Dragon’s Gate Gaming in Rocklea. But this isn’t just another normal Beyblade tournament, these events will be using the X Limited format (a.k.a. X Classic) created by Seattle Beyblade.
X Limited bans blades that are too heavy, wide, or strong, making it viable to use many of the blades that are otherwise too underpowered. If you’re interested in the approach taken in creating the banlist or why each blade was added, read the document from Seattle Beyblade.
This tournament is limited to 24 players! Make sure you sign up to secure your spot.
The tournament starts at 6:30PM, late arrivals will not be able to compete.
Tournament Details
Rulebook: WBO Beyblade X Rules
Match Type: 3on3 Battle, 7-Point Match.
Tournament Type: Group round robin. Double elimination finals bracket.
Optional rules:
1 – Registered deck list [Finals]
4 – Out-of-bounds finish [2 points]
5 – Painted blades allowed
6 – Reveal and reorder
7 – Swap positions after battle (Rotate stadium)
Custom rule: Launching directly into the over or Xtreme zone will be considered a launch error.
Part Bans
The bit Metal Needle is banned at all our events because it can damage stadiums.

1st place – $20 store credit

The tournament is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can’t commit to the entire tournament, you’re welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!
I will be lending out some beyblades for those without, or those with a very limited selection. But you are encouraged to buy your own – buyer’s guide here.
