The kingdom of Sylift calls upon you, humble adventurer, to aid in a matter of growing urgency.
Once a trusted figure within the realm, the kingdom’s tower wizard has turned against the crown. After a bitter and mysterious dispute, he has kidnapped the lone heir and vanished through a powerful magical rift… one that does not lead to another land, but to another time.
Beyond it lies a forgotten age.
A world untouched by the present.
Prehistoric beasts roam the land, ancient civilisations rise and fall, and dangers long buried stir once more.
You have been chosen to follow.
Your mission seems clear. Track the wizard, recover the heir, and return home. But the deeper you travel into the past, the more uncertain that mission becomes. Questions begin to surface. Truths begin to unravel. And the line between right and wrong grows harder to see.
Is the wizard truly the villain of this story?
What really happened between him and the king?
And what consequences might your actions have… not just for the present, but for the future?
Unburied Past is a unique homebrew experience, designed as a parallel campaign.
Two separate adventuring parties explore the same world at the same time, each shaping the story in different ways.
What one group discovers, changes, or destroys may ripple into the other’s journey, with opportunities for crossover as the story unfolds.
Every choice matters. Every action echoes.
And not everything that was lost… should be found. 🐉

About Your StorytellerI enjoy running fantasy themed tables, with lots of non-human NPCs and plenty of encounters that aren’t just combat after combat. I often use the “There is almost always a way to talk your way out of this (if you want to, of course)” as a base for all my encounters. I enjoy seeing how players work through problems, or make more, and letting them have their moments while sticking mostly on track (who doesn’t love a bit of campaign derailing because of a goblin named Glimbo).

The resident tower wizard of the kingdom has gone mad! After a dispute between the king and the wizard, the wizard kidnapped the lone heir to the kingdom and fled through a magical rift.
Beyond the rift is an ancient time, filled with prehistoric animals, and civilisations that are long gone. Traverse the past, follow the wizard, return the heir by any means possible. Kill the wizard, or don’t. Maybe there is more than what meets the eye.
